Small Chest
|
Small Chests hold small objects like rupees or small keys to help you on your way. You can only open each chest once. |

Large Chest

Large Chests hold new items like a new weapon, or a map or boss key. |

Big Key |
The Big Key opens big chests and big doors. |

Map |
The Map shows you where to go to get through the dungeon. It also highlights were you have and haven't been yet. To get it, you sometimes have to wander off the beaten track. |

Compass |
The Compass highlights the room on the map which holds the Master. You need to defeat the Master to finish the dungeon.

Bomb |
The bomb's blast radius damages everything in its path, and even cracked walls. There is a two second fuse, and two bombs can be lit at the same time. If you want to throw a bomb, you have to pick up one you have placed before the fuse runs out. |

Book of Mudora |
The legends of Hyrule are inscribed here, but it also serves to translate the many monoliths in Hyrule. |

Boomerang |
Small enemies can be stunned by the boomerang, and bigger ones stunned. It can get far away items and also hit switches. |

Bottle |
You can keep many things in a bottle. You can find four at any one time, and they are mostly used for potions. |

Bug
Collecting Net |
If you swing your net at different things
in the wild, you don't know what you'll
catch. Whatever you catch can be stored in
a bottle for later use. |

Fire Rod |
The Fire Rod shoots fire to burn enemies. As it is an elemental attack, certain enemies can receive more damage from it. You can also light lanterns and torches from a distance. |

Flute |
Otherwise known as an Ocarina, the Flute allows you to summon Flute Boy's bird. Then you can travel to one of 8 locations on the Hyrulian world map. |

Hookshot |
This weapon-cross-utility allows you to damage enemies from a distance and also pull yourself across holes by firing the hook onto the other side and into something like a tree or chest |

Ice Rod |
The Ice Rod fires Ice in the same way the Fire Rod fires fire. Bigger enemies can be frozen with it and smaller ones killed. |

Lantern |
The lantern can brighten dark rooms and also light torches for short periods of time. |

Magic Cape |
The Magic Cape renders Link invisible while he has enough magic to power the cape. Enemies will not know where you are. |

Magic Hammer |
For a magic item, it uses a lack of magic. I think they mean its magical how powerful it is. It can be use to pound things into
the ground, like stakes or even
enemies. |

Magical Powder |
Despite having a slightly suspect name, this powder has unknown but usually good effects on things. |

Magical Mirror |
This Mirror sends you from the Dark World back to Hyrule. Once you get back, if you return to the point where you emerged in Hyrule you can go back to the Dark World. It can not be used indoors. |

Bombos Medallion |
After you have the Master Sword, you can receive this powerful medallion. The enemy can be slaughtered with the awesome power of this explosive medallion. |

Ether Medallion |
This powers you sword with the power of ice. All enemies on-screen are frozen. |

Quake Medallion |
This powers the Master Sword with the powers of the planet's plates. Everything around you rumbles like thunder when you drive your sword into the ground, and surrounding enemies know about it. |

Mushrooms |
The Lost Woods hold this ingredient to Magical Powder. A Witch knows what to do with it. |

Shovel |
The shovel can dig up soft ground, sometimes revealing an item or object. |

Staff Of Byrna |
While using the staff, you are completely protected. |

Staff Of Somaria |
This staff creates magic blocks which can be pushed around, but can also exploded and damage enemies. |
